A Do-it-Yourself Nature Inspired Table Setting

Discover our deco photographer portfolio

Here is a simple table, but one that will impress your guests by using materials and accessories with rustic and natural elements. Here we used linen tablecloths, wooden trivets, reminiscent of freshly cut logs and freshly cut fir branches.

Place several branches of greenery in the center of your table. Simply wrap them around your candle holders and serving dishes.

You can also place some branches in glass bottles that you can then garnish with kraft paper or even old newspaper. Another added touch, tie your table napkins with a delicate string and add a small branch of fir or rosemary. Fir branches will smell fresh and keep their beautiful green color for several days even without water. You can even make a homemade crown to garnish a wall.

To finish the look and the appeal of this table, create desserts that will harmonize with this decor. We chose these caramel cupcakes crowned with cinnamon. Pretty and delicious, we placed them in cute tin cups. And toping them off with a cinnamon stick, adding a nice dimension to your dessert.

These charming sugar cookies with lavender are extraordinary. Not only are they delicious, but their aroma is divine. They bring a feeling of relaxation to all your guests.

Just add edible lavender buds to your favorite sugar cookie recipe. Flowers and lavender leaves can also be used, fresh or dried, but make sure they are edible.

Our “pièce de résistance”… This beautiful cream cake with vanilla butter, crowned with caramel coulis, seasonal fruits and natural flowers. There’s no better way to end the evening with a glass of your favorite white wine and a piece of this fabulous dessert.
